Etherwake or how to save lots of energy

Usualy I power my computer off when I go to work but today I noticed that I forgot to email myself some files. Since my NAS is always running its really easy to boot the PC if you know its MAC-Address. Of course the network card has to support Wake on Lan.

SSH to the NAS and exec 

ether-wake 00:18:E7:16:19:9A

After 2-3 minutes the pc should be up and I can ssh to it and fetch my files.
