USB-Port - solder to the NAS
From NAS-2000.org
Since the NAS-2000 comes with an unsoldered USB-Port
why not use it?
Adding an USB-Port to the the NAS is an easy task since the
needed holes are already on the Board.
Just search for the U1 label:
and add the USB-Port:
solder it and you are done.
Note:
The default kernel does NOT support the USB-Port
but the next Tinky release will :-)
This is only a USB1.1 port. As you know the processor has a built-in USB2.0-port also, but because of technical issues inside the chip there is no possibility to use this USB2.0-port together with the LAN-port.
